A Simple Protocol for Efficient Plantlet Regeneration from Tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) Hypocotyl Derived Callus

Abastract
Callus was induced from hypocotyl explants of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) on MS medium supplemented with IAA 2 mg/1 and BAP 1 mg/1 and maintained on the same medium. The plantlets were rooted on MS medium with IAA 2.5 mg/1 and were successfully hardened and transferred to the field.
