Regeneration of Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) Through In Vitro Cultures

Abastract
Leaf, stem-tip and hypocotyls segments-derived calli proliferated on B5 medium supplemented with 0.4 mg/1 each of NAA and BAP. Except for leaf tissue, the rest of the explants differentiated into shoots in the same medium fortified with 3 mg/1 BAP. Excised shoots were successfully rooted on MS medium supplemented with 0.1 mg/1 IBA.
