Nuclear Cytology of Callus of Forest tree : Cinnamomum zeylanicum

Abastract
In Cinnamomum zeylanicum callus line, the proportion of diploid cells progressively decreased while that of polyploid slowly increased during a long term culture. The extract mechanism of polyploidization is not clearly understood. Some other variations, such as multinucleate condition, synchrony, amitosis and nuclear material migration were observed.
