In Vitro Propagation of Potato (Solanum Tuberosum L.)

Abastract
In vitro propagation of potato in relation to different nodes and the different position of nodes into culture media showed that the second node was the best performer for most of the characters such as, days to new shooting and rooting, plant height and growth rate, whereas both the first and third node ranked second and the fourth one last. The surface-level position was found most effective for quick regeneration of plantlets. Horizontal position was also good.
