Rapid in vitro cloning of Murus alba L. was achieved by culturing nodal explants in Murashige and Skoog?s (MS) medium. The explants were induced form multiple shoots onto the medium supplement with different concentrations of benzylaminopurine (BAP) and kinetin (Kn). Best response was observed in MS medium with 2.0 mg/1 BAP. The microcuttings were developed to complete plantlets after transferring to the rooting media with or without any supplementation of hormones namely, a - naphthalence-acetic acid (NAA) or indole-3-butyric acid (IBA). However, 1.0 mg/1 IBA was found to be suitable for root induction. The microclones were successfully established in the soil and natural environment.
